About Us

Hello, friends! We started this blog as a means to help moms connect and feel affirmed in their vocation of motherhood. We have been friends for 6 years and have walked through this crazy kid chapter together for the past three. Our posts will be reflections on the realness of motherhood, from the hopes of a babe, to the first pink line, to the (literal) mess of motherhood in the delivery room, to the management of emotion and mentality and SELF while keeping the babies alive. All of it. We're in this together and we want to share our thoughts, whether it be an outlet for ourselves or actually touch some lives along the way. Here's a little more about us:

Lily:

My husband and I have two wonderful boys, Oliver and George. When we had our first son, I felt very out of my element and I remember half-joking we should raise him to completion first (experience every stage, perfect every parenting technique) before trying to raise a second. That's clearly not what happened and I'm so thankful to get to be these boys' Mom, unprepared and imperfect as I am. I'm learning to let God into my motherhood, to allow him to love my family through me and to show me his love for me in new ways.

Sierra:

Right now, my husband and I have been blessed with two sweet babies. Our two year old daughter and eight month old son make life SO busy and SO beautiful, and they give me a lot to reflect on each day. The vocation of motherhood is not for the faint of heart, that's for sure. But somehow, God gives us the grace we need to embrace it head-on each day. And really... those babies are pretty spectacular and make the job pretty dang fun.
